Sisters celebrated the Relief Society's 175th birthday beginning with Pat Zygner's retrospective look at the SunRiver 4th branch's first year of Relief Society activities and humanitarian efforts. The program continued with a slide show by Stephanie Smith, a presentation by Brenda Haslam honoring our fearless leader (RS prez) Valerie Hogan, and a hilarious skit written by Renae Salisbury also starring Loretta Anderson and Stacey De Silva. The birthday party continued with a lunch of Hawaiian haystacks and beautiful birthday cakes especially made for each table. Thank you Stephanie and the Activities Committee as well as all the sisters that baked cakes and brought food, and kudos to Laura Jones for creating the backdrop of the Relief Society seal. What a blessing this organization has been in our lives!
Branch members came out in their green attire bringing yummy green food for the March Social. The decorations were spectacular and everyone enjoyed the games, holiday trivia, and fellowship. Many thanks to Boyd and Deb Luke and their assistants for planning this fabulous event.
