June Social -- Summertime Fun

The cultural hall was decked out in flags and patriotic red, white and blue decorations for the SunRiver 4th Branch June social. Branch members, family, and friends dined on turkey and ham sandwiches, an assortment of delicious salads, a feast of desserts and as a special treat, homemade root beer. Everyone enjoyed catching up with old friends as well as making new friends, and a good time was had by all.  Thanks to Committee chairs Jerry and Brenda Turner and their assistants, Pat & Earl Larrabee and Jolene & Stan Stoll, for the fantastic party.

RS Humanitarian Activity -- T-Shirt Dresses for the Underground Railroad

Relief Society sisters and friends gathered to make darling t-shirt dresses for children who have been rescued from human traffickers.  Ladies cut cloth, ironed, sewed and chatted while creating lovely and comfortable clothes for recovering girls and teens around the world.  Sister Hogan presented outgoing RS Activities Chair Stephanie Smith with a gift of appreciation for her leadership and hard work. The activity was followed by a delicious salad lunch.
