Branch Activity -- St. George Temple Visitors' Center

Branch members and guests met up at the Temple Visitors' Center to watch two new films depicting the events surrounding the translation of the Book of Mormon in Harmony, Pennsylvania, and Fayette, New York.  "Days of Harmony" showed us Oliver Cowdery's perspective, and "A Day for the Eternities," through the eyes of witness David Whitmer.  What a wonderful resource and place to bring friends and family who want to know more about Christ.  The activity concluded with an enjoyable dinner at Ocean's Buffet.

Relief Society Activity -- Summer Movie

Relief Society sisters enjoyed popcorn, candy, and fellowship while watching a fun tearjerker of a movie Love Comes Softly.  Katherine Heigl starred in this Janette Oke story about a young widow who learns to love and trust again.  Thanks to Sue Olson and her Activity Committee for the treats and for organizing this perfect summer activity.
