Relief Society sisters from the SunRiver 3rd and 4th branches met for an outstanding program on preparedness. We learned how to make a 72 hour vest, pack a 72 hour duffel bag, organize a personalized first aid kit, and more. First aid kits were made available for sale. This very informative activity was followed up with refreshments and catching up with old friends. Thanks to MaryJo Snyder and the Activities Committee for arranging this program. So fun to get together with our 3rd branch sisters!
Branch members and guests dressed up in their favorite team's gear for a sports-themed dinner and program. Hot dogs, chili, salads, and loads of desserts were enjoyed by all. Entertainment was provided by Reincarnac the Magnificent (Dan Brian) and the rockin' SunRiver Ambulatory Emeritus Dance Ensemble (choreographer Stephanie Smith). Prizes galore were awarded. Many thanks to committee chairs Margie and Dan Brian and their hardworking committee: Russ and Carol Hewitt, Kristin Downs, Vickie and Larry Ricketts, Joan and J Wayne King -- for such a FANtastic party.
