It was SOUPS galore and festive football decorations at the SunRiver 4th Branch Souper Bowl Social. Members and guests enjoyed a light dinner of soups, bread, cheese and cupcakes as they fellowshipped and discussed who would win the big game. The program included a video special on Gladys Knight, who will be singing the national anthem, as well as a collection of favorite super bowl commercials from the past. Special thanks to the social committee: John and Judy McLaren, Ron and Alice Brenchley, Brent and Debbie Bradbury, Dan and Jeannie Vaughn, and Kathy VanZant. And thanks to all who brought the yummy soups.
Relief Society sisters gathered on a rainy morning to tie quilts for the LDS Humanitarian Center. The quilts are needed for victims of fires and floods, as well as for refugees. Sisters chatted while working together on the gorgeous quilts, and a fun time was shared by all. Big thanks to Activities Chair Sue Olson and Humanitarian Coordinator Linda Peterson for organizing this project, and also to the ladies who participated and brought refreshments.
