SunRiver 4th Branch members, family and friends enjoyed a bounty of delicious soups, chilis, salads, and desserts. All joined in a game of getting to know one another in the lobby. We learned of each other's talents, travels, hobbies, likes and dislikes. Such fascinating people in our Branch! The highlight of the evening was a slide show of members' photos from 40 years back. So much fun guessing the identities! We are so grateful to the creative and energetic social committee chaired by Shirley and Craig Erickson and which included the Baileys, the Ricketts, the Lowes and the DeSilvas. Thank you for the terrific party!
SunRiver 4th Branch Relief Society joined Stacey Fletcher of St. George Share to support families suffering the devastating effects of pregnancy/infant loss. Sisters made blankets, angel charms, and other mementos such as miniature diapers, caps, and socks to give to bereaved parents and siblings who are grieving at the time of/or following the death of a baby. St George Share also provides information, education and resources on the needs of these families. Our thanks go to Stacey and Humanitarian Coordinator Linda Peterson for organizing this project and also to those sisters who brought supplies and refreshments.
