A Beautiful Relief Society Activity Day!

 Drive Through Relief Society Activity!

It was a beautiful Fall day at our 4th Branch “Drive Through Activity”

Golf Carts, Cars, and Trucks all "Social Distanced" through the Church parking lot!

Even though we couldn’t see everyone’s smiles, we could feel the love that comes when sisters in the Gospel of Jesus Christ gather together.

The Activity Committee (Thanks for the goodie bags!)

Thank you Relief Society Presidency for thinking of us!

Happy Pioneer Day!

Our wonderful Relief Society Presidency and Branch President invited us all to a “Drive By” Pioneer activity on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
Some Sisters arrived by car, bike, and golf carts.  We received a goodie bag of “pioneerlike” snacks.  It was great to see our friends and fellow Branch Members.

Whether we are 1st Generation members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or 8th Generations members, or somewhere in between, we all love and appreciate our Pioneer heritage.

Sister Marjorie Pay Hinckley said the following, in reference to her pioneer Grandmother Mary Goble Pay.
“It was while I was still very young that I made up my mind I would stay true and faithful to the gospel so her suffering would not be in vain. Although she died when I was just six months old, I knew that the day would come when I would see her again.  How could I face her if I had not built on the foundation she had laid?”
