Many, many SunRiver community residents contributed their time, talents, nativity sets, decorations, cookies and service to make the annual creche celebration so special. Our deepest gratitude goes to Wendy Granata, Ardis Jensen, Pauli Morello and all their volunteers for bringing the Christmas spirit to our beloved community.
An overflow crowd enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving feast of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, beans, gravy and assorted salads. Sam Zygner treated us to a fascinating account of narrow gauge trains, including a historical video. Many thanks to social committee chairs Brother and Sister Stoll and their amazing committee: Larrabees, Morellos, Spackmans, and Bernice Hancock. Special thanks to Brother Klawitter for his entertaining miniature railroad and village and also to Brother Nichols for helping him transport it up to the church. This is a Thanksgiving we will always remember.
