We Are One

April's activity gave us a chance to share our talents.  

Displays of quilts, crochet, dolls, painting, knitting, Jewelry and more were shown all around the cultural hall for us to get to know each other better.

Here are the majority of the displays.

Our drawing this year is a beautiful print of the savior.

Jackie Hilton made the centerpieces on each table that looked like very delicious desserts.  

Jackie says that some are made of air clay then painted.  The whipped cream is made from lightweight spackle.  

Cakes are made from styrofoam or sponges then frosted.  

Beautiful job Jackie!   

Our luncheon consisted of 

Chicken Salad sandwiches, 

veggies and dip, 

chips,

Dental Hygiene Kits

We are working with a local dentist who needed 100 or more dental hygiene kits to donate to local communities in Guatemala.  They go there once a year to provide dental procedures and education. 

Ginny Wimmer explained what was needed in each kits and how to put together. 

Each kit contained:

 tooth brush

tooth paste

floss or pack of flossers

and a small bar of soap.
