November- Christmas Through Mary's Eyes

 Christmas Through Mary's Eyes

Photos and text provided by Ardis Jensen

Event held on November 8, 2022.  Written and directed by Angie Beirdneau who also starred as Mary, the Mother of our Savior.  She shared her musical talents and sang Mary's Lullaby and Away In the Manger.

Several sisters shared their personal stories of how the Savior has blessed their lives.
The well know song, Mary Did You Know, sung by the popular duo, Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd, appropriately concluded our program.

Hot soups and baguettes and chocolate cake were served.

A special thanks to Angie, Nola Sanford, Cheryl Goodwin, Julie Johnson, Evelyn Gray, Christine Fackrell, Peggy Reeder, Jackie Hilton, Kathleen Kubo, and the activities committee for a job well done.

Our Relief Society Activity Days will resume once again after the holidays.

October Humanitarian Activity Day

Sisters gathered on October 11th morning and evening to finish edges on 125+ fleece blankets for our hospital patients.    💝

Linda Petersen and her Humanitarian Committee prepared the donated fleece pieces by cutting strips along all four sides and snipping a slit above each strip so the edge could be slipped through the slit.  No tying necessary.

A simple but delicious chicken salad sandwich with packaged chips and a cookie was put together by Yolie Klawitter and sisters from the Activity Committee.

Visiting and getting acquainted topped the satisfying day.

And see that ye have faith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works.

September Relief Society Activity

Back to School for Seniors

September 13, 2022

Back to school started off as a rainy day.

Cheryl Goodwin greeted everyone with a smile.

Our school supplies were laid out on the table for us to pick up.

We asked questions to learn more about each other.  It was interesting to find out the details of our early years.

Questions and answers....
