SunRiver Annual Creche Program: Follow His Star

The residents of SunRiver came together as one community to participate in the fourth annual Creche Exhibit and Christmas program.  For three days the public was moved by the unique and beautiful nativities from many countries.  In addition to the creches were exquisite Christmas stars and other Christmas art.  The Creche/Art exhibit was made possible by many volunteers working under the direction of Ardis Jensen.  Special thanks to Stan and Sherril Rassmussen who registered each of the 202 creches with their calligraphy name plates. Ginny Wimmer was in charge of decorations, Paulie Morello -- Publicity/PR, Refreshments -- Anne Knight.  Branch representatives were Leslie Lindley, Sherry Peck, Shirley Thompson, and Pat Reese.  At 4pm each day the public moved into the chapel and were treated to the many talents of SunRiver residents including singing, instrumentals, poetry, story-telling, and more -- all celebrating the birth of the Christ child.  We can thank program chair Renae Salisbury and her committee: Wendy Granata, Dawn Oler, and resident Lolita Hagio for this incredibly inspiring and heartwarming experience.  Merry Christmas to all!
