Holiday Luncheon
4th Branch Relief Society
Tuesday, November 9th
We started our luncheon with a program
"Celebrating the Season of Hope."
Thank you Laura Jones & all who helped in organizing such a lovely program.
"Peace in Christ"
Donna Poulter played a tape of her husband/family singing a beautiful arrangement of:
"Because I Have Been Given Much"
We loved listening to Lorraine Driggs as she read and told us the story of the book
"Christmas Jars"
by Jason Wright
Newspaper reporter Hope Jensen uncovers the remarkable secret behind the "Christmas Jars", glass jars filled with coins and bills anonymously left for people in need. But along the way, Hope discovers much more than the origin of the jars. When some unexpected news sets off a chain reaction of kindness, Hope's greatest Christmas Eve wish comes true.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch of soups, salads, and dessert!
It was the BEST lunch! Great story and beautiful decorations! What a wonderful Relief Society the 4th Branch has!
