Humanitarian Blanket Donation Event
Fleece fabric for blankets was collected leading up to our activity day.
Our Humanitarian committee members prepped the fabric with dots that were the guide for us to cut the edges of the fabric.
Kindness is helping the world, one person at a time.
"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." Mark Twain
Mosiah 2:17
And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; they ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.
125 completed blankets were delivered to the hospital and so much appreciated! They will be given to patients throughout the hospital.
There was a drawing for a Be The Light t-shirt.
Our first winner was Theresa Nelson.
Ginny Wimmer and Linda Waltz celebrated with a high five. Ginny pulled her own name and Linda pulled her own name last month.
It's always fun to win!
Humanitarian Committee Members:

Lunch consisted of Subway sandwiches, chips, and delicious homemade cookies by Shirley Erickson.
The recipe is at the bottom of the blog.
Thank you to Shirley for sharing her baking skills with us!
Special 'thanks' to our Relief Society committee for their hard work in preparing our monthly activity! Thanks for bringing us together!
