Come Warm Your Soul
🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂 🍁 🍂
Beautiful fall decorations greeted us in the cultural hall for 2 fun sour dough bread demonstrations.
'Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree'
Emily Bronte
Fall is proof that change is beautiful.
Crisp air, cozy sweaters, and falling leaves.
The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.
'Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.'

Sisters gathered and visited before the activity began.
Autumn...the year's last, loveliest smile.
Sherril Rasmussen got us thinking about 'What warms your soul'.
Among the many responses were:
cooking,
baking,
temple attendance and service,
acts of kindness administered,
volunteering at the food bank,
putting down our phones,
getting rid of negativity in our lives,
taking a walk,
sunrise and sunsets...
Did you feel prompted to do something that warms your soul?
Our first demonstration was by Ginny Wimmer.
Ginny shared her tried and true recipe that is generations old.
Feeding the starter is required every 3 to 5 days.
Follow the recipe for exact details.
Our second demonstration was by Denise Goddard.
Our final Be The Light t-shirt winners were...
Patty Smith and her sister Candace.
Pauline Clyde
and Sue Olson.
Congratulations to all of the Be The Light
t-shirt winners.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your goods works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Soups on!
The soups were delicious and definitely warmed our souls.
Sour dough bread starts are available from Ginny and Denise.
They can answer all of your questions about homemade sour dough bread too!
